Description:
The course Olimpia delle Tofane is on the north-western
side of the Ampezzo valley, right below the towering massifs
of the Tofane. The Start is above Rifugio Pomedes. After
some hundred meters the course steepens on entering a narrow
gully, the "Scuss", a stretch of black piste.
It then skirts the Rifugio Duca d'Aosta and after that there
are in sequence a jump on a curve, the first and the second
"muro" (dive), the diagonal, the big S, the "bus de ra pales"
zone and the Finish area at "pale di Rumerlo". The section
of the course from Rifugio Duca d'Aosta to "bus de ra pales"
runs through woods.
