HOW TO REACH THE OLYMPIA DELLE TOFANE

 Walking: 

• From Gilardon (right after the crossroads, on the left), starting from 8.45, a free shuttle will keep bringing people to the finish area (5 minutes). You can reach the area of Gilardon taking the urban bus n° 3 or 3bis. On Saturday (at 8.30) and on Sunday (9.30) one depart only from Hotel Franceschi-Race Office
• Take the chair lift “Roncato”, in the area Socrepes. The finish area is situated about 300 metres upwards (for pedestrians the ski pass is not necessary)  

Skiing (the ski pass is not included in the ticket price)

• From the centre of Cortina: take the cable car “Freccia nel Cielo” to Col Drusciè; then go towards Piè Tofana. From here you have 3 options: 
  1) Go upwards to Duca d’Aosta and enjoy the amazing view on Schuss of Tofana;
  2) Go upwards to Duca d’Aosta and take the following chairlift to the starting gate of the Downhill Race at Pomedes, to watch the athletes during the warm-up
  3) Go downwards to the finish area of Rumerlo  

• From the area Socrepes/Gilardon: take the chair lift “Roncato”, then the chair lift “Tofana Express” and go down to the finish area (150 metres)
• From Pocol area: park at Son dei Prade, ski down the slope to the chair lift “Olimpia” and take it. Follow the slope until the chair lift “Tofana Express”, which will bring you to Rumerlo. Here ski down to the finish area (150m).
