Place: | Cortina d'Ampezzo |
Tomorrow morning at 11 am there will be the first test of the downhill in Cortina d'Ampezzo, round five of the specialty in the calendar of the Ladies' World Cup, scheduled for Saturday. This timed downhill was originally scheduled at the same time of the race (10:15), but it was postponed to allow athletes a more accurate inspection of the Olympia delle Tofane slope.
The Ampezzo race course is in perfect condition, it was tested yesterday by Kristian Ghedina and his cousin Francis, and again this morning by six other forerunners. Tomorrow there will be a beautiful sunny day, the same weather conditions expected till Sunday.
